In this great book, Scot McKnight looks in depth at "How we should read the Bible in our day?". It is obvious that none of us follow all of the rules of the bible literally and yet we seem to hold fast to some rules with unquestioning zealousness. In this book Scot McKnight looks at how we make those decisions and steers clear of fundamentalism or liberalism by offering us a third way of reading the Bible as Story. In the second half of this book, he takes a test case of ‘Women in Leadership’ and shows on the run a more Biblical approach to this issue.
