It often feels like our society is on a one way slide into degradation and that we have no chance of ever reversing the trend. I often like to remind myself that Ancient Rome was possibly even more promiscuous and debasing than even our day and yet at some point the tide turned and we ended up with Victorian England where women were dressed from neck to tow complete with chastity underwear. How could this possibly have happened? Is there a healthy midpoint here somewhere?
